No hipdysplasia?

As a sidenote – we have been informed that purebred Kangals do not suffer from hip dysplasia. I think it’s one of those things again – easy to say because there are no records to support nor refute that claim. Very very few Kangals are hip scored at all (for American-bred Kangals check out OFA-registry). Surprisingly, Ayse Kangal-Laika Bruchhauser Wall was hip scored. The score? Right hip 34 and left hip 3 - total hip score of 37. Yet, she was bred for the first time when she was barely one year old. And she was bred again recently – at least one puppy was exported to Germany.
